Your data

Privacy Policy

This site collects the minimum data necessary to operate. Here is exactly what that means.

What is collected

Visitors: This site does not use analytics, tracking pixels, cookies, or fingerprinting. No personal data is collected from readers browsing the site.

Contact form: When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, and message are sent to brian@briankudera.com via a server-side action. This information is not stored in a database — it is delivered directly to my inbox and kept only as long as normal email retention warrants.

Admin authentication: The site admin area uses Google OAuth (via Auth.js) to authenticate a single allowlisted account. During sign-in, Google provides the email address of the authenticating user. This email is used only to verify access and is not stored beyond the session.

Third-party services

The site is hosted on Render and uses Google OAuth for admin sign-in. No advertising networks, social trackers, or data brokers receive information from this site.

Cookies

Visitors receive no cookies. Admin sign-in sets a short-lived, HTTP-only session cookie managed by Auth.js. It is not used for tracking and expires when the session ends.

Data requests and contact

To request deletion of any data you have submitted (e.g., a contact form message), or to ask any question about this policy, email brian@briankudera.com.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date. Last updated: June 2026.
